RETURNS POLICY – AUSTRALIAN PURCHASES

Policy update #2: Effective 1 February, 2023

 

NOT QUITE RIGHT?

For whatever reason - if you are unhappy with your purchase, be it an uncomfortable fit or rare fault in the fabric, or just a change of heart - we will happily exchange the item, paying for the shipping/postage cost for the intial return. We will also ship, free of charge another size or style of your choice, or provide you with a full refund.

PLEASE NOTE: Swim Pretty offers free returns i.e. Swim Pretty will pay shipping/postage (by providing a pre-paid label to the customer via pdf format) to return the first garment purchased for refund if that garment is unsuitable.

Swim Pretty offers free postage to return the first garment for exchange and will supply a pre-paid Standard Post label via pdf format for that return; Swim Pretty will also supply the exchanged garment free of any postage.

If a customer chooses to return a second garment, the customer will be required to pay for the return postage of that garment.

If a customer chooses to return a second garment for a further exchange, the customer will be required to pay for the return of that garment. Swim Pretty will cover the cost of providing a second exchanged garment only. Any further exchanges all postage/freight costs will be at the expense of the customer.

SWIM PRETTY offers free returns for any initial items purchased if returned to us within 14 days of the original garment’s arrival. We will pay for the return delivery (via Australia Post standard shipping) within this time frame as indicated above.

Subject to the Consumer Guarantees outlined below, merchandise returned within the above timeframe (within 14 days of original delivery date) can be returned for an exchange or full refund subject to the following conditions:

  • The swim dress is unworn, unwashed, unused and in its original condition with all tags and hygiene stickers intact.
  • All swimwear will be assessed prior to any returns being processed. 

 

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

Please email us at returns@swimpretty.com.au advising whether you would like a refund or an alternative garment/size. Please quote your original Order/Invoice number.

Once we receive this advice, we will email you a pre-paid Australia Post return label to enable you to return the unwanted item*, free of charge (as per the above conditions).

Simply turn the satchel you received your swim dress in inside out and attach this label. Place your item back in the satchel and seal.

If you didn’t receive or have lost your label please email us at returns@swimpretty.com.au and we will email you a replacement label for you to print and attach to your satchel.

Remember, if you use our return label, we will cover the cost of your return shipping (for a maximum of 1 x returned garment - e.g. one x size change. Any returns or exchanges exceeding this limit freight will be at purchaser expense.)

Drop the parcel off at your nearest Australia Post Red Post Box, or at your local post office.

We will be notified once this has been lodged at Australia Post and will monitor it’s return. We’ll be in touch if we need any further information to finalize your return.

NOTE: We no longer require a Returns & Exchange form to be completed in order to accept a returned garment.

 

How long for my return to be processed?

Once your returned package has been received, your refund or exchange will be processed within seven (7) business days.

All refunds will be processed via the same method as your original payment. A confirmation email will be sent to confirm any refund.

 

HOW TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM

Love the style but need a different size?

If you'd like to exchange your swim dress for another size in the same style please email us at returns@swimpretty.com.au and advise the size that you believe to be more suitable.

Don’t forget to include your original Order/Invoice number.

We will email you a pre-paid Australia Post return label to enable you to return the original garment* free of charge.  

Then, simply turn the satchel you received your swim dress in inside out and attach this label. Place your item back in the satchel and seal.

Drop the parcel off at your nearest Australia Post Red Post Box, or at your local post office. We will be notified once this has been lodged at Australia Post and will monitor it’s return.

Once we receive the original garment, we will immediately ship the new size to you - free of charge. You will receive a confirmation email including tracking details for the replacement garment.

NOTE: We no longer require a Returns & Exchange form to be completed in order to accept a returned garment.

LIMIT TO THE NUMBER OF EXCHANGED ITEMS: Please do determine your sizing as close as possible, as we limit the number of pre-paid exchanges to a maximum of 1 x garment  - e.g. one x size change. Any returns or exchanges exceeding this limit freight will be at purchaser expense as indicated above.

 

WANT TO COMPARE STYLES?

Can I keep a swim dress to compare with another?

If you'd like to keep a purchased swim dress to compare with another, you will need to purchase the second garment online at www.swimprettycom.au and advise us of this via email at returns@swimpretty.com.au

You will need to decide on your preferred swim dress within 14 days of delivery of the second garment and email us at returns@swimpretty.com.au advising which garment you wish to keep. This must occur within 14 days of receiving the second item.

We will email you a pre-paid Australia Post return label to enable you to return the unwanted garment* free of charge. Then, simply turn the satchel you received either swim dress in inside out and attach this label. Place your item back in the satchel and seal. NOTE: we will only provide pre-paid freight for a maximum of 1 x exchange. Freight costs for any further size or style returns/exchanges beyond a maximum of two (2) garments will be at the purchasers expense.

Drop the parcel off at your nearest Australia Post Red Post Box, or at your local post office. We will be notified once this has been lodged at Australia Post and will monitor it’s return.

Should you decide to return both items, please follow the process above, including both garment in the same satchel and let us know via email.

 

How long for my return to be processed?

CANCELLATIONS AND ORDER AMENDMENTS 

In general, we are unable to cancel or make any amendments to any online orders after your order is placed. Amendments may include but are not limited to:

  • Change of delivery address
  • Changes to colours and sizes
  • Adding or removing items
  • Applying discounts or rewards
  • Full order cancellations

However, we are always available to discuss your order and will contact you prior to shipping if we believe an alternative size might be more appropriate.

Please ensure all contact details provided are full and correct at the time of order placement.

Our customer service team is unable to review any worn or used items via email or phone. All items must be physically returned via mail in accordance with the process detailed above.

 

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

Our Returns Policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and you have consumer guarantees that cannot be limited by us. If your product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund or exchange to a similar value. If you have purchased a product with a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement or refund. If you purchased a product with a minor fault, we can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund.
